Might have been even worse than the gum surgery I had ten years ago, which presented different problems--raw areas in my mouth, but no drilling. Last time I had drilling even somewhat similar to yours, I was in college and had to have four impacted wisdom teeth removed. That was when we discovered that I was allergic--very allergic--to the pain-killer codeine (is it even used any more?). Not fun. But I am glad to hear that you are on the mend and ready to celebrate your birthday with this trouble behind you!]]></description>
