Your column was well written and poignant as always, Ev. I know what you mean about decreased sensitivity in a lesser way, due to my arthritis. I cannot always grip things reliably–drop them when I don’t expect to–and my feet do not always sense, or respond quickly, to uneven footing. This I have learned to compensate for somewhat, but I took a lot of tumbles when it first started to come on.
