Thanks, Pat. Really, it was a lost opportunity. We take so much for granted. Nothing is forever, and I wish I’d known as a young woman that I should have made time for my music. At least I can still sing, although my lung capacity is compromised. Glad for that, certainly, and I enjoy singing in a group.

I know some of that music! I suppose it’s a blessing in disguise that other life circumstances drew you away from the instrument before scleroderma made playing impossible (a blessing that you do not have to chalk up one more loss to the disease).
