Thanks for the post. I feel like I know a lot more about this because of your effort. I particularly was ignorant of it’s rarity, and the tie to Raynaud’s.
You are right to point out that our physicians are just like the rest of us mortals, with large gaps in their knowledge base. Everything that we read helps to close those gaps, so thank you again.

I found the history fascinating. Tracking it through the various sources is almost like a detective story in itself–looking for the typical m.o. of a serial killer. I will have to re-read that Sherlock Holmes story.
