Lost my sister at age 35, so I know how much pain and suffering you all go through. She was diagnosed when she was two. It took 9 doctors to finally come to a diagnosis . Back then there was virtully nothing known about Scleroderma . The internet is a wonderful way to spread the news about this disease . I pray that a cure is not far off. Bless you all.

Thank you for posting this beautiful message about Scleroderma Awareness Day, and the Sunflower being the Scleroderma symbol in Australia. A couple of years ago, a woman from Australia attended conference here, and she brought sunflower coursages that she made and handed out to the people she met . The sunflower put a smile on our face, and brightened up our attire.

I know a little bit about Paul Klee, the favorite artist of my art-major college roommate, but did NOT know he had scleroderma. Also did not know about scleroderma being a “linchpin disease,” but it makes sense. Hope this fact helps make the case for more resources to be devoted to a cure.
