This issue with root resorption is so frustrating, the wait for gums to heal is long, and the fact that dental insurance refuses to take it seriously is ridiculous. Indeed, it’s always something. I too have been losing teeth due to resorption. Mine would just break off at the gum; then the oral surgeon would remove the roots which was very painful. Then it would take forever for my gums to heal. Thankful that I too have the means because my Dental Ins wouldn’t pay (considered cosmetic). We’ve been working on my teeth for about two years. Takes forever for my gums to heal and the implant to be installed. Will be glad when I get all of my teeth. Always something going on when living with scleroderma.
