In re. all these memory issues, I am totally there with you. Names seem to be the most difficult for me to recall, sometimes even people I've known for years. Scary. Lists don't help with that particular problem, though I am a big fan of them for other things. Right now, I have the following lists going: a grocery list, of course, for the next trip to the store; a holiday gift list (what I've gotten for each person or want to get); a list of those to whom I have sent holiday cards; a remember-to-take list for our holiday travels; a long-range professional project to-do list. And don't even get me started on my annotated calendars!
